Great Ocean Road Half Marathon.

We are lucky to have Sharon as one of our Ambassadors. Living on Victoria's wonderful surf coast, Wife, Mum, Nurse and Midwife, Sharon loves sharing pics from her regular coastal runs .   

Sharon's first time doing the Great Ocean Road 23km run.  "Loved every minute of it - how could you not with such beautiful views the whole way, and no blisters!"

Sharon is also looking forward to October when she and friends will be tackling the tough OxFam Trailwalker.

Sharon is definitely on the move: "We are very excited to be doing Oxfam Melbourne again. Following on from this myself & 3 girlfriends (including 2 from my Oxfam team) are heading to Tassie in November to do the Overland Track for my 50th birthday."

Meegana tackling Pacific Crest Trail

ArmaSkin Ambassador Meegana is heading from her small home town of Fredericksburg Virginia to the trail head of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT)

The PCT spans a massive 4,265 kilometres (2,650 miles) from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. It is a National Scenic Trail. It reveals the beauty of the desert, unfolds the glaciated expanses of the Sierra Nevada, travels deep forests, and provides commanding vistas of volcanic peaks in the Cascade Range. The trail symbolizes everything there is to love—and protect—in the Western United States.

Legendary for bouts of extreme weather the PCT in 2021 hasn't disappointed.  Hikers already on the PCT are experiencing  40C / 100F plus degree temperatures in the North Californian shade!!

Some only travel a few kilometres, while others complete the through hike in a single season. Tying the trail together is a community of volunteers and passionate outdoor enthusiasts called Trail Angels.   Tired hikers may be rewarded with surprise stake outs of fresh water or treats.

West Highland Way (Scotland)

Mark and his mates have successfully completed Scotland's West Highland Way.

The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles (154 Km) from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.

Pretty colours, relatively clear trails and super friendly folks along the way.  What an escape!  This was the first time Greg had used ArmaSkin liner socks and happily reported being blister free over the journey.

Recent delivery difficulties associated with greatly reduced international freight has put a spotlight on delivery certainty.

We have thus created an additional freight option in our on-line shop that provides tracking for overseas deliveries.  

The new rate for delivery with tracking for up to 7 pairs of ArmaSkin is a flat rate amount of $19AUD. For 8-16 pairs the with tracking charge is $36AUD per delivery.

Three 50 plus women hikers are Flip Flopping the PCT and giving regular Youtube updates on their progress. 

And if you don't know, flip flop relates to doing a major trail within a year but completing sections out of order.

Kristy , Annette and Lynn are their names and they are real, no nonsense hikers.  To be clear, the guess is they are not wearing ArmaSkin, mainly because they are proud of the fact that they are still using much of their gear that is 10 years old, which is way before ArmaSkin came along.
